Sandakan is down below where that big bay is. You can see how many rivers flow out. The one to the far right is the Kinabatangan

Actually not that much food......we had no orangutans show....think it happens a lot!!

Sepilok has a outdoor nursery for the juveniles......we saw 10 or so "kids" having fun!!

Sun Bear......world's smallest bear...about the size of a medium-size dog!

We stopped to ask the local for any sightings...they said a herd passed by this morning!!!

OK...found a few.....hidden behind the tall elephant grass

We waited listening to the sound of eating, grass pulling and then as it got dark......we see his head....barely!!

Crested Serpent-Eagle.....drying its wings!!

Oriental Pied Hornbill....they were the most common

Wrinkled Hornbill.....very rare for this area.....the wing swoosh was very loud when they took off...there were 3!!

Alpha male long-tailed Macaque on the boardwalk at the lodge....protecting his troop......we backed up and went another way!!

Cave entrance......home to 2 million bats and Swiflets and 10 million cockroaches...yuck!!!

Crab in the guano.....the smell was daunting!!
