Haul Out and Boat Projects in Subic Bay Philippines

Hauling out Mystic at Watercraft Boatyard in Subic Bay Philippines
A very sunny and hot day......soon to be covered in dust from high winds and a quarry near by
The haul out lane is 19'...we are 17' wide....not much clearance...thanks to excellent line handlers and thrusters we had no scrapes:)))

The guys filling drums!!
We had a cock fighting rooster next to us.....crowed all day...can't say I blamed him....hot and dusty!!
Port tank gasket.....some kind of silicon....ok shape, a little wobbly
Middle compartment port fuel tank....a little dirty
Algae residue on Francis' hand
Algae crap from bottom of tank.....we took out 32oz from the port tank
Small Kevin in the port tank.....we ventilated the tank overnight but it still had some diesel fumes!
Aft compartment....dirty
Forward compartment....see the fuel and ESI pick up tubes
Algae crap
A very clean aft compartment.....see the leftover 5200 from construction
Pieces of the gasket.....came from aft fuel and ESI hose connection port
Clean forward compartment
Port gasket back on
Starboard inspection port
Oh no......gasket is all ripped apart....ugh!!!
Why do wives have such great memories....like, how did that fuel nozzle get in the tank...uh, John, don't you remember you dropped it in the Galapagos.....hmm, not really....well you DID!!!!
Not too dirty center compartment
Ugh...very dirty aft compartment
Really dirty forward compartment...we took out 64oz of algae crap from the starboard tank
Ripped gasket
Clean aft compartment
Clean forward compartment
Francis watching the fill into the starboard compartment so we would know we would cover the new gasket and ensure it would not leak!!
More gasket material
Aft compartment fuel line connection port at top of fuel tank.....we think a full gasket should be there and now most is gone.....we think that is where a lot of the gasket material came from on the port tank
Barnacle growth on port fin stabilizer....we thought this was the culprit as was the case in Panama
Good size oyster
Port fin shaft.....not in good shape.....see all the grooves
Old Speedy sleeve installed in Australia

This is what the bottom paint looks like after it dries....that is all algae.....but a quick wash and sanding it easily comes off....but, wow, the stink....ugh!!!
