Captain’s Log: Vanuatu Picture Update

Hi All,

Well….we are stuck in Port Vila waiting on weather for our passage to New Caledonia….it’s blowing 20-25kts from the ESE with 6-10′ seas for the next 10-12 days….that will put it slightly forward of the port beam….not going to happen so here we wait….a bit frustrating as we are a bit pressed for time to see New Caledonia and Australia….so much to see, so little time…..arghhhhhh!!

We did put together a small gallery of some of the pictures from our past 2+ months cruising Vanuatu. Unfortunately, our website will not let us post videos which is too bad as we have some good ones from the Tanna volcano, land diving on Pentecost, diving the Lady on the Coolidge and the ROM dance.

2/1/16....Road Trip Australia!! Well, planes, trains, and automobiles.....Two months of inland travel to explore the huge continent of Oz! :)

1/2/16....Happy New Year from Sydney, Australia!!!!

7/20/15....Back in Port Vila after nearly 2 months of exploring some of the northern islands of Vanuatu.....Volcanoes; Diving; Exotic dances; Magic; Many cultural experiences; and Even a visit from David and Dana.....Just fantastic!!!
As for now, we'll rest here in Port Vila but will take the first good weather window to New Caledonia.....As much as we have loved Vanuatu, it's time for us to continue on West......

5/15/15....Arrived safely Port Villa, Vanuatu around noon. Good passage, and it feels great to be here! Got checked in, had a late lunch and pretty much collapsed! Tomorrow we'll unload our cargo and hit the market and bank. Life is truly very good!

5/8/15....It's time......Leaving tomorrow morning for Vanuatu. 1150nm, nearly due north. Bye-bye fuzzy slippers and sweats.....Hello flipflops and skirts! Bye-bye pale and puffy....Hello tan! Should take us 6 &1/2 days.....Hope to be in Port Vila sometime late Friday afternoon on the 15th. Tropics, here we come! Yyyessss!!!!
