Hi All,
Work continues on Mystic Moon at Platypus Marine in Port Angeles Washington. John did a quick 2-day trip this past Mon & Tues to check on progress. I arrived after the main primer coat had been applied. It looked great. The next step is to look for imperfections in the primer coat….small pinholes or uneven spots. Then repair and sand entire boat again….this might take up to a week!!! After that the topcoat is applied, then the nonskid paint applied, then the hardware is reinstalled.
Splash is still scheduled for 11/22 which is right on schedule. But, my guess is the date might be pushed back by a day or so to 11/25 or 26. I will be going back on 11/12 to assist in the hardware reinstallation and Kathy will join me on 11/18.
And FINALLY, I have completed the last pictures of our Alaska/British Columbia cruise!!!
