Hi All,
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!!! We get to celebrate twice…..once yesterday and once today….just love this dateline thing :))))
Another trawler like day….not perfect weather but close. Winds were in the 5-10 kt S-SSW during the day. Late afternoon and early evening there was a line of squalls that came through. Moderate rain, no lightening, and winds built to 10-15 kts primarily out of the NE. The squalls moved east around midnight and the winds became light and variable…sweet as!!!
The SW swell did get pretty large….in the 9-12′ range….those 12′ swells sure do look impressive. These were those large, long period rollers which Mystic handled quite well!! After midnight the seas had that oily appearance and the swells reduced to the 3-6′ range
SWEET AS!!!!!
And, I’m feeling much better!!!! In fact I was in such a deep sleep when the alarm went off for my 2:00am watch…..I was numb for an hour trying to wake up……you know the feeling….out of body numb like….whoa……now I’m speed writing this blog 3 cups of coffee later and soon a Baby Ruth bar :))))
Actually not much to report…..reading, napping, a little putzing….boring…..YES…..just what we like on passage!!!!

Hope all is well!
