Hi All,
All is well!!!!
And this trawler weather continues…..it has now been 55+ hours…..sweet as!!!!
We had a one hour period of a squall….wind up to 20 kts but no rain, other than that it has been as low as no wind and then mainly in the 4-8 kts range. There is a huge SW swell…..2-3m….but long period and we just gently go up and over!!!
Our speed has varied once again…..6.7 – 8.4 kts…..a lot of swirly currents…..but we seem to be averaging in the mid 7’s.
We will be ready for the weather later tonight/Saturday. I suspect we will have to slow down some and maybe tack a little to the west!!! We will have a period of 8-12 hours of 15-20G25…..on the nose…..arghhh!!!!! But, then 24 hours later we be there….GO MYSTIC GO!!!!!
I am feeling much, much better today….have some energy and just not so tired. And Kathy too…..she arranged/organized all the food/freezers today in preparation for the NZ check in. Can’t believe we still have some NZ meat left….we will be eating mighty fine the next few weeks while we try and shut down Mr Hero (freezer on the FB).
Boat Stuff: nothing new…..yes!!!!!
