Oct 16-19 Hi All, Ketawai: We made it to the anchorage around 4pm….86nm, 10.5 hrs, 8.2kt avg….not too bad!!! October 15, 2016 3:51 am / John

Oct 8-15 Hi All, Well……not too much to report here at TG Kelayang. As we knew, the Rally has slowed way down…….not too many people are complaining (well, maybe a few) as it has been quite social, especially for the core Rally group (10-15 boats), and it has been a chance to catch your breath … Read More →

October 4, 2016 1:37 am / John

Oct 2-4 Hi All, The Kumai adventure continues……. Anchoring: oh my lord, this has been a most difficult anchorage for many boats including us. The challenge is the boats turn 180* 4x per day due to the tide changes which means the anchor hopefully resets…..and the current can run up to 4 knots….very challenging, especially … Read More →

Sept 13-18 Hi All, We made it to Lovina around 4:00pm……it was a pretty good run but we lost that nice, calm trawler like conditions for the first half…..blew 15-20kts on the beam and seas 2-3’….whoa……hadn’t seen that in a while.
